Minutes of the Meeting
                
              1.Announced again that individuals looking for conference funding do not need to attend finance committee meetings

              2.Listened to two individuals applying for conference funding on why they need funds, one made change to fund
              allocation but was already noted.

              3.Addressed concerns over some group funding applications. Some need to make it known that events are open to
              all graduate students.

              4.Decided two group applications(MBA Connection and Graduate marketing club) conditional on clarifying further
              info due to lack of representation at the meeting

              5.Discussed conference funding and possible changes
                  a.Requests for funding are way up. Already at 67% of budget if approve all.
                  b.decided to fully fund people who are speaking at conferences, and give 75%
                  of asked funds asked for to everyone else.

              6.Look for ways to raise budget for next year. Possibly send out survey to all grad students asking if they
              would be willing to pay a slightly higher activity fee

              7.Motions:
                 (1)To fund group activity budget, 5 in favor and 1 opposed.  Motion passed
                 (2)To approve full funding for people speaking at conferences and 75% of everyone else. As well as a few people
                 who applied but applications didn’t make it through, 6 in favor. Motion passed

              8.Discussed future meetings, look to work on budgeting for next year
