Minutes of the Meeting
                
              1. The second committee meeting focused mainly on the upcoming President's Forum.
                 Vidit mentioned that a list of concerns has to be sent out to the president in advance
                 so the president can address those issues during the forum.

              2. Senators put forward several concerns such as
                *Housing for graduate students
                *Flexibility of courses,interdisciplinary courses, uniformity in rules across all colleges.
                *Making the book store,library,on campus eateries more conducive for graduate students with 
                   regard to when they open at the beginning of a semester.

              3. Amanda and Haripriya volunteered to be in charge of food arrangements for the forum.

              4. Vidit mentioned that the poster for the president's forum would be ready soon and publicity would 
                 start Monday Oct. 22nd.

              5. Issues from the last senate meeting were addressed and resolved, regarding dental insurance and UHCS 
                 accessibility during summer.Vidit is working towards getting these sorted by December this year.

              6. Finally all senators are encouraged to forward their concerns/queries to Vidit at the earliest, so he 
                 can mail out the final list to the president by Wednesday, Oct 24th.
