Meal Plan 2007-2008

Updating your meal plan for the Fall 2007 term will be available via myNEU by the end of July. Watch for future NU Announcements for further details.

The following students are required to participate in the 19, 15 or 10 meal plan operated by University Dining Services:

  • All freshmen (during their first two semesters as matriculated college students) living in University housing.

The following students are required to participate in the 19, 15 or 10 or 5 meal plan operated by University Dining Services:

  • All upper-class students living in traditional University residence halls and suites without kitchen facilities

Students living in a meal-required residence are automatically billed for the 15 or 10 meal plan, depending on their housing assignment. Students have through the first week of the term to reduce their meal plan. You are allowed to increase your meal plan at any time.

Meal plans are good from Sunday morning breakfast through Saturday evening dinner. Each time a student enters the dining room, he runs his Husky Card through the card reader and the system deducts that meal from the total number available. Meals are apportioned on a weekly basis. Unused meals do not carry over from week to week. The 19, 15, 10 & 5 meal plan expire the Friday of finals week.

Visit Dining Services for information about menus and dining locations.

To change a meal plan, complete the request on the myNEU Web Portal. You have until the Friday of the first week of the term to reduce or remove your meal plan.
