The Outstanding Graduate Student Awards are presented annually by the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) and the Office of the Provost. This honor will enhance the recipient's CV or resume since the awards are highly competitive. Each awardee receives a certificate, a monetary award of $500 and an invitation to an awards luncheon with faculty mentors and administors. These university-wide awards will be presented in the following categories:

• Research – Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Engineering
• Research – Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences
• Community Service
• Practice Oriented Education (Co-op, Practicum, or Internship)
• Teaching Award in Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences
• Teaching Award in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences and Engineering

Purpose:

The Outstanding Graduate Student Awards honor outstanding students for their significant accomplishments in teaching, research, community service and applied experience.  These awards are established to confer honor upon individuals, who, by their contributions to knowledge and the community, have brought recognition to themselves and the University.

Eligibility:

All graduate students at Northeastern are eligible.
